Floors & tables

On the mobile app, open More → Restaurant tables to browse the live floor plan. Occupied tables open their current bill. If your role allows it, you can move the complete table or select bill items and move them to an available table. Table setup and editing remain in the web administration screen.

For restaurants and cafés, ZeylonPOS can model your seating: floors (areas like Ground Floor or Terrace) and the tables on each floor. Staff then open and manage orders against a table at the register.

🔷 For managers & admins
Creating, editing and deleting floors needs settings.floors.* and tables need settings.tables.*. Cashiers without these can still view tables and transfer or split bills at the register. Floors & tables live inside the Restaurant Management module — enable it from the App marketplace first.

Where to find it

Floors & tables are configured from the Restaurant Management module:

  1. Open the App marketplace (/app).
  2. Enable Restaurant Management if it isn't already.
  3. Select Configure on that module — it opens with Floors and Tables tabs.

Floors

A floor is an area of your venue, tied to a branch.

FieldWhat it does
NameThe floor's name (e.g. "Terrace")
BranchWhich branch/location this floor belongs to
EnabledWhether the floor is active

Tables

Each table sits on a floor and has a capacity.

FieldWhat it does
NameTable name or number
FloorWhich floor the table is on
CapacityHow many guests it seats
StatusCurrent state (e.g. available)
EnabledWhether the table is active
  1. In the Floors tab, add each floor and assign it to a branch.
  2. Switch to the Tables tab, add each table, set its floor and capacity.
  3. Enable the ones in service.

Once set up, staff seat guests and run orders per table at the register — see Restaurant tables.

Deleting floors and tables

A table can't be deleted while it's occupied, and a floor can't be deleted while it still has tables — clear or move them first. Likewise a branch with floors or tables can't be deleted. To take a table out of service temporarily, turn Enabled off.
